Acceptable Use Policy

This policy applies to everyone using eWest. It is part of our Terms of Service. The model providers behind eWest have their own usage policies, and you must also follow those; where they are stricter, they apply.
1. You must not use eWest to
- Create, share or seek sexual content involving minors. We report such content to the authorities.
- Create sexual or intimate images of a real person without their consent, or deceptive impersonations of real people ("deepfakes") meant to mislead.
- Harass, threaten, bully or promote violence or hatred against people or groups.
- Develop weapons capable of mass harm, or plan or promote terrorism or violent extremism.
- Write malware, attack systems, or obtain unauthorised access to data or accounts.
- Commit fraud or scams, including spam, phishing, fake reviews and impersonating organisations.
- Run deceptive political campaigns or interfere with elections.
- Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, or process personal data without a legal basis.
- Give legal, medical or financial advice to people without qualified human review where the law requires it.
2. Protecting the Service
- Do not try to get around rate limits, budgets, safety filters or access controls.
- Do not use the Service to build a competing model by extracting model outputs at scale, where a provider forbids it.
- Do not overload the Service, probe it for vulnerabilities, or share API keys publicly. Report security issues to [security email].
3. Transparency
Tell people when they are interacting with AI, or viewing AI-generated media, where they could reasonably be misled or where the law requires it.
4. Enforcement
We may review traces of flagged requests, block content, revoke keys, or suspend or close accounts that break this policy, and report illegal content to the authorities. To report misuse, contact [abuse email].
